hair color lightens and darkens till it gets to the color you genes determined to be.

i was a toe head when born... it darkened in to a sandy blonde color.

now it's whatever color i tell my stylist to do lol

Pigment in hair changes as you get older, the same way say... skin color changes (freckles and such). Also, the environment and everything in it (the sun, pollution, etc.) play a big role, too.

i think when you are younger most people's hair is blondish cos it more delicate but the real colour hasn't come out yet
