Yes, I have that color hair and I got blonde highlights. I love the way I look with them and I would never go back to how my hair was before I had them!

As long as the highlights aren't chunky. I hate that personally. If you just want to lighten your hair yes highlights would be great. I have very light blonde hair already though and decided to get highlights and while my hair was done up it looked great but once it was down my hair was practically white it got so blonde with just a few highlights. So be careful how much highlighting you get done.
