I have brown hair and eyes, and am wondering which eye shadows are the best?

I would say my skin is medium...you know tans easily. I look best in color like pink, peach, coral, sometimes red...don't do well at all in greens and yellows if that helps at all. .And also just maybe a few tips as far as application of liner, shadow etc. I just can't seem to find anything that really works for me and doesn't make my face look washed out. You should definately go for pink eyeshadow, mascara, and some clear, shiny lipgloss. It sounds like black eyeliner would make your face look too dark. Also, try a little pink blush. Remember, makeup should be subtle. Don't overdo it!

i am just like you ! except for the fact that my hair is dyed brown. when i wear eyeshadow, i use pink shadow maybe blended with a bit of lavender purple, i think it`s the best combination for me, you could try it to see if you like it.

i think u should try a deep dark purlple with a little shimmer to it and htne a light lavender almost white purple shadow on the inner eylid and blend into the dark purple of the outer eyelid it looks good on almost anyone and i have dark brown eyes too and medium skin the only diff though is taht my hiar realy really dark brown almost black lol

I had my make-up professionally done ( I am clueless about colors) and just like you I have brown hair and brown eyes. I was told purple (play with the different shades of purple) look fantastic because it contrasts nicely. Good luck!!

I think that it's cover girl that has this new line that matches your eye color with the best colors. It comes with three shadows and eye liner. I have brown eyes and honestly, green is the best color that brings out brown. I know that you said that you hate green, but it all depends on how green the green is that you are using. I use pea green and then a somewhat darker green on top and I just blend it. Many times if you blend the colors like that it looks a whole lot better than to have a bunch of colors slapped on your eyes. When I do my eyes, I line them with the liner- I perfer the creamy pencil. Sometimes, I line just the bottom but for a more dramatic sexy look, I line the top and bottom. Then, I add whatever eye shadow and again I blend colors. Finally, I hit my lashes with mascara and if I'm going for that dramatic sexy look or if I eased up on the shadow I go with a lot of mascara. Your best bet is to just sit down and play with make up until you find the right combos for you.

People with brown eyes look best in purples. try a dark purple close to thr lash line and a lighter purple over the lid.

for eyeliner. get a soft black/brown pencil and do it right above your botton=m eye lask where the whitish part is. dont do it with liquid. (haha that hurts) and for mascara get the cover girl purple one or green one. those are the best + there cheap. i think only putting mascara on the top lash looks best but thats just me. umm u might wana try brown shadow. i use the one form lacome its really good. its liek browney goldy. just dont go overbord and im sure youll get the hang of it. u might also wana try loking in mags. or like tv (?) look for people with the same complection as you and see what looks best

i too have brown hair, eyes and medium skin. iv'e found that pink or green eyeshadow brings out the most color in my eyes. i also use a litte liquid eye linner on my top lids right above the lash line.
