You would need to bleach the hair - just the tips - first and then using the color of your choice - pink - apply dye over the area. This is best handled by a pro - it will show if done right. But it's not an easy look to maintain - so be prepared for frequent touch-ups!

If you want to tip your hair with any unnatural colour (pink, blue, green etc) then you will need to bleach the tip to a very pale shade first. Pink would look great as long as your brown hair is not faded or wishy washy looking to begin with. If it is a bit ho-hum, maybe you need to put a brown dye in a colour similar to your own in first (just to liven the colour up) then bleach the tips, lastly colour the tips. Probably easier if you have someone else do it for you.

Hi, I'm a hairdresser and I would recommend not to do this. I dont think it would look that good. You would have to bleach the hair to get a true pink, and because pink is an artificial colour it would fade very fast. You should seek professional advice. Go to your salon and have a consultation. You would have to lighten the hair and apply the pink over to really show. I would suggest trying a clip in pink extension piece first before committing to this.
