Unfortunately, no. it will turn it brassy. There are several decent 'frosting' kits made specifically for dark brown hair that will add natural looking streaks, instead.

No I'm just kidding but using the sun as a lightening agent isn't a good idea.It can damage your hair.I suggest you go to your nearest hair salon and get it dyed.It's the most safest way!
