your best bets are pinks and purples (any shade will do) because these are the colours that will natrually emphasize your eyecolour and make it really pop. for someone with brown eyes, the best eyeshadows would be greens and blues, as they have the same effect on brown eyes as pink and purple has on green or hazel eyes. if you could find a waterproof, plum coloured eyeliner that would really be a bonus because you can line the inside of your eye with it, which would really create a contrast between your iris and the liner.

I would say greens and purples...not together of course :) but both go well with hazel and would bring out the color in your eyes.

Your eye color is similar to mine. If you really want to emphasize the green in your eye, like I do, purple really brings it out. Also you could try a dark navy, thats really pretty if done right. I also really like a bronzy sort of gold, nothing tooooo metallic. But those colors definitely work with my eyes. I hope I helped!!

I have the same colouring as you and i wear green during the day. Use a green eye pencil to line your upper lid and use it very lightly on the bottom. Keep the pencil close to the lash line to give a more natural effect. Then just sweep the green shadow over your lid to the crease.

In the evenings, i use this purple pallet. It has a dark almost black purple, a medium and a light purple. Use the light all over the lid, the medium to the crease, and the dark in the corners of the socket and along the top lash line. I also use a lip brush and mix the dark purple with a tiny bit of water and use it as a liner along the bottom lash line.

Any colour goes really but try not to go for brown as it will just blend in with your eyes!

Colors

Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup. I personally really like the way deep purples look with hazel eyes.

Colors To Avoid

First up, blues. Any color of blue doesn't do hazel eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.

Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.

Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.
