the only way to do it is with a bleach, and yes it will probably go a bit orange, if you are going to go blonde please get it done professionally because the hairdreser will have to tone it and make sure its even and you wont be able to get it even enough.

No, it will stay brown as you can't dye something dark lighter. That's like trying to dye a black sheet white. If you bleach your hair you can go blond but I'd get it done by a professional. And by the way a single question mark is enough!

heyy well i had this problem about a year ago. i had dark brown hair and wanted it blonde. i done it by myself and ended up burning my hair and it went dry, flaky, adn not even conditioner helped it. my hair after a while turned red too! i suggest you get it done in a salon as they know what they are doing and they are really helpful. and hey you might get there and realise that blonde isnt the colour you want to dye your hair to, you might choose a different colour! but trust me alot of people look good with blonde hair, but i ended up dying myn back brown cuz i missed it! LOL and i think jsut for teh record that the 3 question marks are very appealing!!!

I agree you should probobly go to a salon, but if you are going to do it at home use a shade that is ash. My hairdresser told me that because when I used to color my dark brown hair it would always fade and have way too much red.

i have brown hair and my hair dresser bleeches it and puts in some yellow/gold colour and its cool
