help, i dyed my hair blonde to cover my roots now its brassy and orange what color will fix it?

my roots were med brown, used ash blond dye, all over, looks orange/brassy, how can i get to either blonde or preferably brown.

it might be best to strip your hair or you can go a dark brown they have hair dye that helps with brassyness

It sounds like alot but if you go straight to dying it brown, red will still be in it. So take CLairol Herbal Essences Blonde, then do a dark brown color. (But be sure to getlots of ideas! I don't want to mess up ur hair!)

ok im in the same boat as you, i tried that herbal essence blonde color and it made my hair yellow/orange then i tried putting in brown color it toned the orangy color a little but its nowhere near the color i wanted, so i went to a salon and asked if theres anything i could do they suggested that i just wait a couple of weeks and try for a darker color unless i really want to mess up my hair, i guess im keeping this color for a while sorry i cant help you just thought you might want to know to not try that blonde color and then do a darker color
