Any cool suggestion on how to highlight my long dark brown hair w/o looking like everyone else?

I have long dark brwn hair and wanted to get honey blond highlights. I want something that looks different and cute..Any suggestions? Thanks for your help..=).

It all depends on yor style. If you want just all over highlights and are getting this done at a salon, a caramel color would look awesome. If they work with Redkin color, 9WG is an awesome toner for caramel highlights. Personally, I just did a friends hair where I did back to back sliced foils alternating with black (1B w/ blue kicker), red (lightened with bleach then toned with 4R), and then platinum (bleached then toned with 9V). She had light brownish hair, so she had great hair to play with. It turned out really pretty sweet, and she could make it look fun or classy.
