My skin color isn't actually so pink and pale as it looks in the picture, and I'm working on a tan too. Do you think it will look good if I color it that much lighter? Will it turn out orange? What do you think? Should I go for it?

i think it looks nice. since your hair is dark, if you buy color from the drugstore or something buy something a little lighter than that, because it always comes out darker than it says on the box (for dark hair, at least.)
