Why don't you just leave it dark? Fall is here, haircolor should be darker. Plus, dark hair is so sexy! Don't forget all the money you will spend maintaining highlights, color care shampoos. And even with that said, the highlights will look brassy after a few months. Not worth it!

It would look cute, but i would suggest lower lights and light caramel, because alot of times girls with brown hair try to get blonde highlights and it comes out to heavy and way overdone and just looks bad, and plus the maintence of highlights is always a pain, so less is best
