when i get routes back and i dye them, would they go the same blonde or a different blonde colour?

Bleaching your hair makes it very straw like after you've washed it because bleaching it 'strips' it of all it colour! Its not just dye that goes over the top....It actually strips it.........

Whats the best way to dye dark brown hair to platnum blonde? you will have to prelighten it, probably not even once. prelighten them once with Garnier (i use it), you will get a bit yellow shade. then see if you have still too dark hair, so you will have to do this again. if your hair is just light yellow, then you can use platinum or ash shade (i use Clairol) and you will get a perfect result. and when you get roots just do the same to them, bleech and then dye with the same colour, they will be of the same colour with your hair. Home bleaches are okay, but very harsh which may, and probably will damage your hair. I have predominately grey hair as I went grey very early. My natural hair colour was a dark chestnut brown and had a lot of red in it. I decided to go blonde but went to the hairdressers as I had tried to colour brown over my grey. This caused a build up of layers of colour and it took 5 hours to strip all the colours out. My hair is now the desired pale blonde and I can do it myself at home. I do get a lot of breakage but as I do my hair every 4-5 weeks I cant justify spending 40 50 pounds on my hair every month. To do it yourself at home, you would need lighteners and blondeing treatmnets which are bleaches. It does dry your hair a lot. Phone your salon or pop in to get some proffesional advice before you go ahead.

and when you get routes, and dye them, try to go to the same place, cus i think they use different cemicals each hairdresser you go to. so she might have strong but another place might have a little softer, so please find a good hairdresser that you trust.. cus also if you go to a not good hairdresser, it might happen that that person burns your hair and then you will go bald..
