I was a natural blonde up through middle school. After that it started to get darker and darker so I started dying it blonde. I had blonde hair my whole life up until about a month ago. I got tired of the dark roots so I dyed it brown. I look much better blonde and I want to go back but I am on a small budget. Is it easy to dye it back myself? What could I do?
Try using lemon to dye your hair back.
just spend the $10 and go to walmart buy the dye and do it ur self its not hard if u no how to read directions
Yes I am a high maintenance kind of girl I never spend less than $100.00 getting my hair dyed. The past few months I had to get on a strict budget. So I had my cousin come over and dye my hair. I was more nervous than anything. She wasnt though. We bought the dye (2 kits because my hair is longer) she did it and it looks the same as if I went to the salon. I ended up spending 26 dollars. I just reccomend you have someone help so the dye isnt everywhere. Also buy a more expensive permanent dye. You'll be blonde any beautiful again soon with no worries!!
I have did that a few times before. You have to watch it though if you do it yourself you can end up with red or orange hair. This is what I've done, I bought a Loreal bleaching kit and after washing it out I put a ultra light blond back on it. But it is so terrible for your hair. Save up and go to a salon, they have special lifters and color and toners to make sure it's not a funky color.
wow.. exact same situation as me! i hated my hair dark and went to so many people to try to get it fixed, but they all just made me a brunette with yellow streaks. and i paid one of them $150!! it looked awful. finally i just started doing so many hot oil and deep conditioning treatments on my hair so i could experiment until i found the right hair dresser. i finally found her and now ive been a blonde again for about 2 weeks.
my suggestion to you is to start using a protein conditioner and other deep conditioners and treatments. continue this and save up money to go to a professional(make sure you get recommendations). by the time you have enough money saved up, your hair will be able to take a beating (lightening your hair is WAY worse on it than darkening). be sure you bring in pictures of EXACTLY what you want so if it doesnt turn out right, they may not make you pay very much.. or they may set you up a free session to fix it later. hope that helps!
Ok, I will tell you, what I would do. I would buy in a store a highliting kit with the cap and highlight instead of doing the whole head. That way you can do it a second time and more highllights until you get blond. Other option would be to bleach your hair. But be careful so it does not turn orange. leave it for longer and keep looking at the color until is light enough. if it turns a orange color or yellowish get a toner with a blue or purple base and it will tone the brasiness down.
i've tried with a gold...but it doesn't look as well as i like. does brown look good? or anything else?

try shades of browns and greens on your eyes.

try green and purple eyeshadow that will bring out your eyes even more.
different shades of green look good with those kind of eyes...you have to mix and match these things though...a light purple, which you also need to learn which is best for you. then different shades of browns, and shimmery browns with a tint of gold and so forth look great!! just experient and it will definltey all work! good luck
Try darker shades of brown for a natural or casual look or even whaever color you are wearing that day. If you want gold lightly dust it on your eyes for the shimmer instead of full out gold.

That would be me as well and I have found that brown works well and purple actually makes my eyes pop. Just dont use a bright purple but a light one actually looks good. I agree with you on the gold and actually have found that you have to be really careful with your shades of green because some look fantastic and others not so fantastic.

The only reason I know is because my parents both have brown hair, but mine is a shade of Auburn. For me it's because my grandmother, one of my mom's cousins and two of my mom's great-aunts have red hair. Not orange, but a (more red) Auburn colour.

Light brown hair is still in the brunette family. It's light brunette, not dark brunette. But if your light brown hair has a lot of blonde tones in it, you could be at the border line between dark blonde and very light brown hair, the blonde amounts outnumbering the browns.

I have light brown hair also. I had blonde til I moved to Joysey at 17 yrs old. I know others might consider light brown brunette but mine is light brown with (natural) blonde highlights-So I stick with saying Light Brown. Good Luck on figuring this one out. I guess you can say whatever you wanna say. There are darker blondes also. So I have no clue anymore.
